reunion lunch

The usual reunion lunch on the 1st day of Chinese New Year just felt a bit different this year. Still remembered that last year, I was back from Hong Kong after my internship for about 2 weeks for Chinese New Year and then flew back to Hong Kong for my CEEDership.

Last year, it felt that I was in the midst of my working abroad experience and that being back in Malaysia after 6 months, was such a good feeling. Hmm... still had the "Hong Kong" kinda feel at that point of time ;) And it was a whole afternoon explaining to my uncles, aunts & cousins my stint in Hong Kong! And at the end, it was another good reunion lunch.

This year around, just felt different. I really don't know how to describe it, but it just felt different. Or at least it was a different feeling compared to the previous years of reunion lunch ;) Probably it could just be me - finishing the transition from university to the working world. But anyhow, had the usual chats with my cousins of what we were up to these days. And of course the receiving of red packets ritual ;)
