thanks for making it happen

After finishing up the EB track faci pre meeting, we went to UST for the LCP elections. I was pretty much excited to attend this elections as Sing Sing aka Vin Lee was runing for LCP ;) I knew him last year and have worked together with him during my CEEDership.

I can still remember how it felt attending the elections a year ago. I was pretty sad after the event as it was just very much demotivating. The sight of alumni making so many sarcastic comments to put down the candidates would just make the candidates doubt themselves whether they have made the right choice to run for leadership role in the organization. From what I know that this is pretty much the same situation for other student organizations in Hong Kong.

However, this time around - it was different! What were the changes made?
1. Elections was 7:30pm - 11:00 pm compared to previously 11:00 am - 2:00 am (the next day)!
2. No more welcoming motion - saves so much time!!!
3. No extension for Q&A session
4. 1 question & 1 follow up question; and NO comment ;D

In general, I felt that the environment was a good one; something which I can relate back to what I've experienced running for leadership role in Malaysia. Would like to thank Nancy and everyone else which made this happened ;)
