re-reintegrate into the culture

Drop by PolyU for a while to pass Jacso my book on Personal Balanced Scorecard since she's taking care of this session during WNCF 2008. Quite some LC members were pretty excited to have seen me. And of course, many took some time to recognize me without my glasses. Was really really good to have meet up with the OPS facis Nelson, Bonida, Wai Khey, Martin, Jonathan, CK & Georgi. Had quick conversations with some of them, but mostly with Nelson about WNCF conference management. What was surprising to me was that Nelson hug me for a few times. Hmm... it's not strange at all; it actually felt good & welcomed me back to Hong Kong. Thanks man!

Met up with the Dominic, Ken, Tammy, Janet & Angie - the HKU0708 double term EBs for lunch ;) This time around, the awkward moment was quick; probably it would get better and better as the days go - this is what I call re-reintegration ;P It could be that I'm adjusting to being & feeling more Hong Kong. We went to a Boards Game cafe in Yau Ma Tei. Had a very good & enjoyable time with them. Shared about my work life and how valuable our @XP really is. And they shared with me their future plans & even want to make a visit to Malaysia next May. Hopefully, I don't get shipped to a client's place too far from KL. Probably might not be able to host them as my place won't be able to accommodate all of them; but definitely can take them around ;)

For dinner, met up with Wai Khey, Georgi, Jonathan & Victor. Dinner was a bit too salty at temple street; but we still manage to finish it up. Walked along temple street, and then to TST. Great thing is that I got some good photos with the habour view ;) Just before leaving for home, we had mango dessert. Weather here is really really cold! Tomorrow, I'm sure to wear a thicker coat or put on more layers of clothes on myself. But am enjoying the nice breeze here!!!

Am exhausted, but am very very satisfied. To come back to Hong Kong and meet & catch up with many friends. It's just different when you keep in touch through email and when you meet in person. Can't wait for yum cha session tomorrow with the MC team ;)
