individual steamboat pot

Went to Mizi, a steamboat restaurant in Puchong where each person would have their own individual pot to themselves. I didn't know that it even existed in Malaysia. The first time I had it was in Hong Kong and it was just really fun to go for something different. The one I had in Hong Kong and what was offered in this restaurant in Puchong is quite different in terms of how they defined individual pot ;)

In Hong Kong, it was a small pot on a stand with a Bunsen burner. Where else here, it was a metal bowl on an electrical stove. My preference - of course the one in Hong Kong coz it's just so much more fun!

When we arrived we couldn't get a long table for eight; and had to have 2 separate tables of four. But in the end, we decided that the eight of us would just sit around a table meant for four ;D so that we could chit chat easily. So in the end, it didn't really matter whether we had our own individual pot or not. Food was not bad and we ate till we were all full. Love the sauce that was served! And of course we made sure that we got our share of green tea refills.

Was a good meal & catch up with my friends ;) Can't wait for the next one soon...
