close to perfect vision

I'm still figuring out why did I decided to commit myself to go for a laser surgery. Went to check my eyes today to see whether I'll be suitable for the surgery and have to thank my sister for accompanying me all the way as I wouldn't be able to drive back home with my eyes being dilated. Even now when I'm writing this post, I still couldn't focus that well.

I've always imagined myself without glasses. Wouldn't that be cool? Especially when your eyes are so tired and you could just rest them anytime. Having glasses on all the time actually strains the eyes so much, and that it is always a relieve when I just take them away just for a few seconds ;) And another thing is that I'll be able to wear sunglasses anytime!

So why not try contacts instead of surgery? Hmmm... I'm just too blind to get contacts, and even I'm not; just feel that the idea of putting a small piece of lens into your eyes gives me the jitters every time when I think about it. Also, having heard stories of how contacts bring complications all the more discourages me from getting them. But at times, I wonder how my friends deal with it. And when there is an option of contacts & glasses; I would anytime go for glasses ;)

Now I'm thinking about the number of surgeries which I've went through before. Wow! Went for surgery in my school days to remove my tonsils. And a year or so later, surgery on my nose for my sinus. Then got braces done in form 6. And today, I'm getting laser surgery for my eyes after university. It's just crazy how many surgeries you could go for and which are available these days...

Praying hard that I would recover really quickly so that I could start work next month...
