2 months pass; another 2 to go...

Looking back now... about 2 months of my CEEDership has passed. And it seems that it's been soooo long that I'm in Hong Kong. Did some personal reflection and seems that though I thought that I didn't achieved much; but I indeed did got much done! And pretty much satisfied with myself ;)

r3 - raise, realize, reward
pronounced as "r cube". Did analysis of current reality of AIESEC Hong Kong in terms of Issue Based eXchange. And manage to develop products related to Corporate Responsibility & Entrepreneurship. Also, am managing 5 teams with 3 members each in sales of these products. Am glad that the majority of these members are excited and dedicated in wanting to see more issue based exchange happening. Now myself am focusing effort in raising issue based TNs as well; and that if manage to get 5 TNs raised - will turn it into a national MT PBOX ;)

APXLDS, Hyderabad
Was superb that I was selected to be a facilitator for this amazing conference! It was awesome working with some of the best people in the network. Also was inspiring to see the new generation of AIESECers so much passionate about the organization. Indeed it was a renewal for me to want to give my best during my CEED ;)

NLDS Hong Kong, Shenzhen
It was challenging to have design a conference where the theme was on Product Evolution. Focus was to be innovative in designing new products & packaging it! Tough job; but manage to deliver a conference which introduced the idea of being innovative which is an important element needed in the LC to ensure sustainable growth! And that this is a key principle of the AIESEC Strategy - Product Leadership.

AIESEC Summer Work Abroad Programme
Got 21 members who registered for this programme and 13 selected after SRB. A superb initiative to have members go on exchange during their 1st year university summer holidays. It was also a strategy to experience & learn about PBOXes in other countries. As of today, 1 realized & 5 matched, and 7 more to go.... Would definitely push for this initiative to be run again next term as I see loads of potential for AIESEC Hong Kong to be an SN supply country.

Building LC culture
Another initiative which I've been constantly involved was helping LCs build a good and happy LC culture. The team day was done for CUHK together with Egle, Mantas & Alvin. Enjoyed it a lot and with some follow up by the core OC team & LCEBs, am pretty happy of the outcome. Everyone in the CSR PBOX team now is working really hard to make things happen. They have already started weekly learning circles around the CSR issue. And I just cant wait for more to happen soon...

Then did another team day for HKU together with Alvin, Hortan, Natalie, Mindy & Cyrus. Well, we manage to get the teams together and got more insights to what's happening in the LC. Love the part when they actually drew their ideal LC and it was put up in the LC office. HKU is lucky to have a very proactive Alumni Advisory Group to help them out with so many things. I wished there was something similar when I was in the LC; but anyway my alumni were definitely helping out when we asked ;)

Developed and implemented a member education cycle for HKBU. Took quite some time to localize it but it was worth it. Am glad that we ran 7 AIESEC Gatherings successfully; and implemented the 6 learning environments ;) Somethings are easily done when you've gone through it yourself and that when creating it, it's more on how to make it even better. Thanks to Wai Khey, Nelson, Beatrice, Bonida, Mantas & HKBU LCEBs for all your support in making this a reality.

etc...
and of course there are those stuffs which you can't categories them. Having dinners with LC teams. Powerful conversations with some members. Helping out with plans of MC elect team. Getting involved in intern activities. and loads more....

But the coolest part of the CEED so far is that I've learned about myself so much. Am now able to see things which I never could have seen if I were not on this CEED. And that now I can decide to make changes for the better as well. It is definitely a right choice for me to want to take up the CEED offer. And for the coming 2 months - I am very much excited what else is going to happen. I see that it would be very challenging indeed; but with challenges only then I can grow and be stronger ;)
